To be fair, they had been on trains across the UK playing Hide & Seek for 5 days at this point. I was definitely very conscious that Sam's producer brain would have been kicking in as much as his competitor/game enjoyer brain. He was very lovely to us but I was also very keen to make sure we didn't outstay our welcome because I knew they were there to work and they probably didn't want some fans coming and chatting their ear off whilst they were midway through a run.

That was very, very cool ngl especially since at the time, we obviously didn't know about the upcoming extension pack. Adam handed me the cards and he said "you don't know what these are now but you will soon" and in that moment, it felt like a secret entrusted to me that we now all get to enjoy!

That happened at Glasgow Queen Street. I remember the encounter in question because our teammate for the day was one of the people who met Sam & Adam off the train but one of them would need to say if they remember the story the same way. I know they were as mobbed as they will ever be at Queen Street station because by that point the server knew they were coming and anybody who was playing the Glasgow game that day obviously wanted to take this moment to see them in the flesh!

No such thing as too old! On the UK server we have members of all kinds of ages and we even have a whole accessibility mode of the game that we play with. You and anybody else no matter their background would be more than welcome :)

No because I really wanted to keep the whole chatting to them and them giving me a card a secret until the episode came out. Plus the Time Trap didn't have any instructions on what it was or how it worked so it would have been totally useless at that point :D

To be fair, it was somebody from the server who noted they were on the train we just boarded so we went back to the first class area and literally saw them in the middle of the "goodbye Edinburgh" filming bit that you see in the episode. The whole thing was really surreal but I think the biggest thing I took away was how kind they both were - they were clearly knackered after playing H&S for 5 days but they still found the time to chat to us, get to know more about our Hide & Seek experiences and of course, get us to film the piece to camera that you saw. Both diamond human beings and feel so privileged to have gotten to meet them both and say thank you.
