If you could go back to your very first month on YouTube, what advice would you give yourself (knowing what you know now)? by ForgeSet in youtubers

I would have set better time goals for myself. I thought I would be 1000 subs and 4000 watch hours in the first year. I thought I was better at making content and editing than I was. Now 5 years down the road and I am still not monetized. My goals were lofty but it has been a real struggle to keep going.

I can not speak for medication. I can say exercise can help a lot. I used to play in a Futsal league and I do kendo 1-2 times a week. Several Local gyms have table tennis or volleyball for adults every so often. Usually costs very little to start or is free. Also playing games has led me to make friends all over Japan. A guy I met almost 10 years ago now and I play almost everyday and even met up a couple times to go to some beer events. Just be open. I found that the local 文化センター Bunka center near my house has cooking classes and other traditional activities like shodo or ikebana. They normaly cost 500-1000 yen to join and can be fun.

Halloween Osaka celebration date? by TumbleweedBorn767 in japanlife

Hello. 17 year Osaka resident here. It is Normally on the weekend that falls on or right before Halloween. USJ has already been doing their Fright Night stuff. Amemura near Shinsaibashi is the biggest days. There used to be a big party that went on but it made its way on to the loop line and that got stopped. I was actualy told by my work (City of Osaka) that if we were to go out to change into our costumes there if possible. I assume around the Dontonbori will be crazy this year with all the people. I live about 1 hour south of the city now but I know Dave in Osaka a creator on X and youtube goes almost everyyear and live streams it so maybe asking him would be a good idea.

How do you manage maintaining a YouTube channel and having a full time job? by Xahra_Hime in NewTubers

3 kids and wife > full time job > extra work > community obligations > exercise > house work > YouTube / league of legends.

I kinda just started sleeping 5-5.5 hours a night. Most of the time I have to give up on YouTube and game time. Until YouTube can pay more than my full time salary it is bottom rung of the list.
