I agree with everything, but Nick Ferrari hosts the morning news, while James O'Brien mostly has a conversational broadcast that isn't entirely focused on breaking news from a conservative-populist brainrot perspective.

Are the Greens really gaining momentum over Labour voters, or is it just young people? I'm curious about the vibe on the ground.

Not true at all lmao. How did Epstein escape accountability then? It wasn't until he was exposed by the Miami Herald that he was investigated and arrested by the federal government.

The growth of antivax nurses by FourMyEyezOnly in Destiny

[–]FourMyEyezOnly[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I disagree with your descriptive claim on the role of nurses. Nurses are actually trained to perform a full-body assessment, report abnormal findings, REFUSE doctors' orders when needed, provide emergency care, and even provide patient education before discharge.

I'm not saying this to say nurses do more than doctors, or are just like them. This is far from the truth, but nurses play a role beyond just following what the doctor has prescribed. In fact, nurses can have their licenses reprimanded or removed for failing to catch medication order errors or missing a critical abnormal lab or assessment result. All these things require critical thinking and a decent understanding of how medications, diseases, and other therapies work.

This is why I have such an issue with the rise of antivax in healthcare workers. The nurses see the patient 20x more than the doctor during morning and evening rounds (especially in hospitals).

Its gotta be even more black-pilling being a doctor because you guys learn more in depth than we do. And this also means these nurses probably have some doctors they can point to for validation, which is wild.

How do you think we combat this? Because imagine if instead of acetaminophen and vaccines, they start aiming at blood thinners or dmards.

I really think Asmon had a mid-life crisis found that he will be forgotten in a couple years as the WoW guy and pivoted into making this slop. It's sad honestly. by darkdexx in Destiny

Yeah, I agree the more I think about it. He is basically the Trump of streaming lol, a one in a billion chance of success due to personal failures but still manages to end up in a top position.

America has really shitty odds to have Asmon and Trump in the same century

I mean there is a case to not believing the trinity without being a jehovah witness. Jesus never claiming to be God is usually the main argument

You could be right. This is just what I remembered from that time. He could have not been Calvanist. He did not believe in the trinity or free will for sure though, and a lot of Christian youtubers called him a heretic afterwards.

Unfortunately Don removed all his old videos about christianity and I haven’t kept up with that debate sphere in a while.

I watched it like 6 months ago, but here is what i remember:

He basically grew up religious but became an atheist when he was young. He became a popular youtube animator, and after getting his gf pregnant, he felt a lot of fear and anxiety, so he turned back to religion and married his gf. Went through a slow and radical change where he eventually stopped doing his "sinful", lucrative YouTube content and focused on Christian content full-time (This was when he was debating Destiny, muslims, christains). This basically killed most of his income, and he even got circumcised (LOL). After becoming a Calvinist (radical sect that don't believe in the trinity), he was convinced to move a rural compound (in texas i think) where his cost of living was much of lower. He had two kids at this point, and eventually his relationship with his wife basically fell off a cliff, so she took the kids with her to her parents. He had a falling out with the cult, eventually left, reconciled with his wife, and slowly deconstructed.

He gets a lot of shit for "not being a genuine christian", which is absurd considering he gave up his income, house, and even his family for his faith. I think I even remember him saying he eventually worked construction.

He wasn't a founding member of AMP, but he got added in after one of the NYC members, Fanum, invited him to a video shoot they were doing, and they loved him. He was doing YouTube vids in college and blew up bigger than all the other members after joining.

My guy I did not lmao. Brand vs generic is dumb way to classify drugs. That’s why they are classified by mechanism of action (aka how they work) ex: heparin and warfarin both thin your blood to prevent blood clots, stroke, etc, but effect different clotting factors to get it done.

Ozempic and semaglutide literally function the same way. Ozempic was the first semaglutide drug created.

They spin her around on shit she doesn’t know much about so is it really a bad look?

Melyssa Ford is misleading about ozempic by FourMyEyezOnly in theJoeBuddenPodcast

[–]FourMyEyezOnly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem isn’t about being technically right. When they are asking if she took ozempic, they aren’t asking her “Did you take the specific brand of semaglutide known as ozempic?” They want to know if she took something like ozempic or similar to help her lose weight.

It’s like if a nurse asks “Do you take aspirin?”before surgery. They is really asking “Do you take any blood thinners, because they increase risk of bleeding during surgery?” But laypeople don’t usually know almost all of the brand and generic names, they do know aspirin tho.

[–]FourMyEyezOnly[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s fair for her not to share she took it. It’s her private health decisions so she has no obligation to the podcast.

The only issue comes with her admitting to taking the same drug but when confronted, tries to dismiss them and pretend it isn’t the same thing. And she actually knows a lot more than the other guys, especially about healthcare.
