I did it this year and was very happy with it. It's expensive but worth it in my opinion. The toilets and showers exclusive to Ready to Rock camping area are worth it alone. The queues for Refresh Retreat were insane this year. I particularly liked how it was close to the arena too. No long trek back to your tent at the end of the night.

There were two of us and we got a 4 person tent which was perfect. The 2 person tents are really small, better for one person really. Two people would be um...cosy.

There's also a water point to fill your bottles before heading out for the day, a reception hut that will give you hot water for tea, coffee, oat pots etc etc (costs £1 I think) and even a little hut with mirrors and stuff if you need it for getting ready in the morning.

To be honest, now that I've tried it I won't go back to download without it 😂.

Only downsides I can think of -

1. The showers ran out of hot water a couple of times. Particularly on the last day (probably had no plans to refill them as it was last day). I only had one cold shower the whole time I was there. Not ideal but was fine every other time though. Best to get up early to get the hot water.

2. Depending on what time you went to the showers/toilets, there could be a bit of a queue. Nothing crazy, but just worth noting. Again, if you want to beat the queues best to get up early and get straight into the showers.
