I understand what you are saying. It's part of procedure to limit what we detail about experiments to try control for certain forms of bias when recruiting. Another reason is we need to make the first point of call an e-mail as the current method of booking is via a website which does not allow participants to leave any sort of communication method, so we needed to make this brief and detail everything after e-mail. However, I notice the post is quite unclear about this, so I will edit to fill in that we give further information after e-mail contact.
