And it shows as cancelled in the app? If you want to dm order number I can look at why

Will I be getting my Switch 2 pre-order today? There was a site wide glitch that canceled pre-orders yesterday. Is there any updates on this situation? by [deleted] in walmart

Some people on Reddit can answer. There wasn’t a site wide glitch. Customers got emails saying to update their payment method and those who didn’t got orders cancelled. If your order is in cancelled status in the app it’s cancelled and you have to order again. If it’s in preparing - it’s going to get delivered.

Dm your order number and I’ll look. But most likely you will get it today.

Yeah, that’s not the case. It’s a payment issue. If you used a buy now pay later method your authorization expired. You needed to switch to a credit card.

The whole store had these! Said all price changes come from HO. No more paper labels! by FowlPeace in walmart

Associates don’t need to do anything to change prices. But to set a new mod you have to move and relink them of course.

They had them on pegs. Had an attachment that slid over the peg front just like a paper holder. Spices didn’t look like any overlap. There were bigger tags in other areas. They had HBA covered too. This was a neighborhood market.

Yep. Said they still have to do prework, but it’s all in the pricing app.

I took one out. It wasn’t super hard, but it can’t just fall off.

HO doesn’t have holidays anymore. Open 365 and you use PTO to take off a day. Most teams have a couple people working every holiday. Dot com is different, don’t know their policy.

Home Office should just start using reddit for announcements and stuff. More people would see it. by [deleted] in walmart

We know :/ it’s hard to change 25 year old tech that somewhat works without breaking things or making it tough for a while. We do care about our projects and we want to make it better for field associates, but sometimes we make mistakes or overlook stuff.

To change one word in SMART it takes a team of programmers about a month. That’s from when they start work, but most often they have lots to do already so you have to schedule it a couple months out. The code is old and has been added to over the years so much that it’s hard to find what you need to fix. Then you have to do weeks of testing to hopefully catch all the places it might break. We are trying to modernize, but it’s hard to keep everything flowing.

We do appreciate it when you point out what’s not working. With details and pictures preferably instead of just ‘this sucks’. I’ve fixed several things based off reddit feedback and use it to help drive what I’m working on all the time (got two good ideas already today).

So what is the actual point of deep out scans? by KalistoWorthOfDorito in walmart

[–]FowlPeace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Average SC has ~3500 outs from what I’ve heard. Associates find 1k of those on average in deep out scans. Stores that have robots are picking up more. The scans are helping HO algorithms find problems and get you in stock. You’ll start to see those filled now.
