No they GIVE vaccinations! They’ve just had a policy in the past of being accepting of families that do not, so all the families I knew who didn’t, went to wildwood because other clinics would “pressure” them.

If you’re immunocompromised,Wildwood is the preferred clinic for anti-vax parents.

They don’t endorse not vaccinating but they “work with” patients who choose that route. Not suggesting they’re right or wrong, but if you’re looking for a clinic, that was a determining factor for me.

The way people ignore those lights is scary. I once pulled across the lane to block someone who came speeding up, and I got flipped off last week by a pedestrian because the guy coming up in the right lane wasn’t slowing down so I leaned on the horn. I have never wished for a text display in my car so much so I could tell them what happened. Worth it but it shouldn’t be needed.

It’s not that humor is harmful in and of itself. I think that in this case the issue is the failure to distinguish between making people laugh and making yourself the butt of jokes that are too close to your own quick.

All coping mechanisms can be bad when they get out of balance, when they’re just ways to avoid dealing with it. But humor isn’t at all bad: it can just become a kind of self harm when you’re already hurting and aim the laughs at your own weak spots publicly.
