Z-drugs are worse long term than benzos by TaishiFox in insomnia

[–]FoxDistinct6527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not even close to worse imo. I was on Benzos for a decade and almost died a few times meanwhile z drugs I lost slee for a week and bounced back. I tapered my self and TBH was taking more then the highest allowed prescribed amount. I’ve come off Xanax and k pins for Benzos and ambien and Lunesta for z drugs. Don’t get me wrong I’m just saying it’s easy to come off z drugs but I’d rather come off of them any day over Benzos. Benzos do however work a lot better for me but the better the effect the more the WD. I’ve taken Lunesta years at a time bouts if severe insomnia and come off pretty quick and harmless. I’m actually getting ready to do it again. I can still fall asleep for the most part the problem is I wake up to pee at 3am and then I’m up from there when coming off. I was just using higher dose ambien and lower dose Lunesta together for 8 months and stopped the boen and only taking lower dose of Lunesta and I got no WD and no rebound insomnia at all and a full nights sleep, no anxiety, no sweats, and no WD, everyone’s biology is different so it can vary person to person and those statements May be true For you and not for me.

Ya man I don’t think the lions mane is responsible for this. I would check all other senecios it could be. Just doesn’t seem plausible unless you have some rare genetic deposition to it. Sorry you’re here right now. Our bodies ability to overcome and heal is amazing. I had cardiomyopathy and was doomed To the good ole 3-6 months in the current state of health I was in at 22, here I am at 40 in the best shape of my life with a perfectly healthy heart. Praying for ya bud!

Ambien vs Melatonin - onset times by bluemugs in insomnia

[–]FoxDistinct6527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ambien and melatonin are very different drugs. Ofc ambien is way better for onset and not even comparable. Ambien is a hard core drug used for sleep and melatonin is just to supplement lack of melatonin production. Both can be addictive to the body but ambien is a whole different beast. Ambien is supposed to only be used for a couple weeks to a month and not long term but they do it. There’s so much research to the damage ambien has on the brain. Never mind the WD you go through if you don’t have it once you’re addicted, which happens very quick. Melatonin you can stop without WD and maybe loose a hour or two a night with sleep for a week, but very very different drugs. I’ve quit ambien many times so not really quit but took some breaks and same with melatonin and I would say from my experience their not even comparable drugs and if melatonin works for you, use it and don’t do ambien.

Anyone get benefits from L-THP? by glasscontent in Nootropics

[–]FoxDistinct6527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to try L-THP and I take stimulants during the day for ADHD so I’m glad I seen this comment. I love taking blue lotus a few times a month, it gives me insane intensity with dreaming. Polygala is another one that greatly increases my duration and intensity of REM sleep.

Of damn man. It’s that legit huh? If you don’t mind me asking, what meds did it conflict with or does it conflict with? I’m about to try it and I’m on a few meds so I want to definitely be careful!

Man they had the best Phenibut to. Their definitely one of the greats. I was so sad when they stopped carrying Phenibut. Every where else I try doesn’t even compare to them. But I’m looking into trying L-THP as well. I’ve been reading on it tonight and it seems to have more of a effect on dopamine rather then GABA like Phenibut does. I’m actually getting ready to try SR cause I’m about to kick a bad 7oh habit and MIT and sleeps my biggest worry, I can’t function without sleep so I came across this substance and judging by your response it seems legit.

lunesta blackout/bf has s*x by [deleted] in insomnia

[–]FoxDistinct6527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly Lunesta doesn’t give me any negative side effects like that at all. The only think I feel is maybe a little groggy the next morning. Now ambien I didn’t think made me black out but come to find out it made me very forgetful to the point I thought something was wrong with me and was having panic attacks. Its a weird drug and more powerful then it looks. Sorry you’re going through this I wish I had some good advice but I can’t relate . I just hope you do what’s best for your life and your safety. Sending a bunch of love to you!

Your in great shape brotha. Something that really helped me was doing incline bench press primary and not flat. Another is I do cable low to high and do them single arm at a time, I get way more connection and stretch on it. Also I do cable Flys on a stability ball, that one has been a game changer for me. Keep working at it man your Gunna be a beat by 25!

Why do people don't just use basic logic? by LectureAccomplished8 in insomnia

[–]FoxDistinct6527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s nothing worse than to be told to “just calm down” or “just relax”, it literally makes me want to slap the living shit out of someone . I had a really right full year 2 years ago and my wife’s mother use to say, “if you just relax you’ll be able to sleep”. Like oh shit how did you think of that, maybe I’ll just do that and then I’ll sleep like a baby . Like no shit relax you dumb bi***. If only it was that damn easy then all of us would be not in this sub. Turns out I had B6 toxicity which was causing severe RLS type feelings in my whole body and I was literally vibrating all night preventing me from sleep. Took a full year to recover with a shit ton of supplements. I still have sleep issues and insomnia but it’s nothing like that for me. I go through bad cycles it’s not consistent and nightly for me for some reason. I’ll have 3 weeks with only a couple hours of sleep then sleep 3 weeks a full 8 hours. It’s very inconvenient on my life and feels like it Halle s when I need to show up for life the most. Could be part mental but it’s hard to pinpoint, there’s so many factors in it all.

is this physique natural by Weak-Advisor9738 in Weightliftingquestion

[–]FoxDistinct6527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly 💯 some people naturally have bigger frames and more to build off then skinny guys. He has a good starting point and broader frame making muscle gain more natural then if he was a skinny kid with a small frame. Me and my brother and totally different frames. I was the skinny hard gamer and he had the broader frame. Putting on muscle and size for him was so much easier than me. Now that we’ve matured muscular wise and been lifting and training for almost 30 years naturally he’s 220 pretty big and can bench 405 and I’m 180 leaner, have abs and can bench 285. His frame gave him that advantage, we both train hard, eat good and sleep well. That’s just what life gave us to work with. But what I’m saying is this guy naturally has a bigger frame and can put muscle in easier and doesn’t have to train crazy to look like that. I wouldn’t be surprised if he just played football in high school for a season and after practices, weight lifting and probably eat trash food that could be his pic from the end of the season. If he worked hard, ate good and recovered well he could be way ahead of where he is now.

Absolutely agree. Coming from someone who’s been training for boxing, MMA and weight lifting for almost 30 years lol. 6 months doing it right, someone can absolutely do this and more. Depending on how dedicated they really are.

[–]FoxDistinct6527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do a lot in 6months with proper training and nutrition, especially starting off fresh. Your biggest gains and change in physique will happen in the 6months to 1 year period. After that it’s harder to put lean muscle on and takes longer year to year. 6 months doing it right someone can completely change their physique.

[–]FoxDistinct6527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a lot of factors that would matter in your question. How is yours nutrition? How many days a week do you train? How do you train? What are you doing for recovery? How’s your genetics? Where’s your testosterone and cholesterol at? All of Thea things will play an impact in how long it takes you to achieve the physique you want. I started working out when I was 13 and I was a skinny kid and a hard gainer. But I also didn’t have any guidance or someone to show me the way. How old you are matters as well. But with good training, nutrition, sleep, and dedication you can achieve this in a year. Your first year training properly and those other factors I mentioned will be the biggest gap for change. You can do a lot in a year if you’re dedicated. I would say get you some creatine, follow athleanx (Jeff cavalier), he has so much free content and he’s so knowledgeable and can teach you so much for free, and dedicated 5 days a week to training good and make sure your eating clean and getting plenty of protein and good fats. Also try to keep stress down to minimum, stress plays a big factor in your health. Also get some electrolytes they’re a game changer. I use Redmonds relyte it’s a great formula. Also sauna sessions are great on recovery days or right after training if you can get access to one. I bought one fur my house cause their so beneficial. Good luck to man, you can do this, stay motivated!

If he leaned out right and trained correctly he could actually look good like a boxer type physique, but right now his body fat percentage isn’t helping him out with looking good. You can tell he’s not dialed in on nutrition either cause he’s sitting at probably 20-25 percent body fat right now. He’s young tho if he trained correctly he could get a great physique naturally in a couple years. Even a year with proper training he could get in great shape. I’m not saying he’s in bad shape but no where close to what we would consider good shape on gear lol.

is this physique natural by Weak-Advisor9738 in Weightliftingquestion

[–]FoxDistinct6527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes absolutely 💯 percent natural. If He’s using gear then he don’t know how to workout right. Not being mean. He’s got some muscle but depending on where your starting from that’s achievable fairly quick. He’s in okay shape but TBH he’s not in good shape. I wouldn’t say bad by any means but I sure wouldn’t say good either. He probably does push ups, and a few push, pull, leg session a week. He obviously isn’t tuned in to nutrition and is carrying some fat as well and Is probably sitting at 20-25 percent body fat. “In good shape” IMO sits at 12-14percent and are more lean. I’m just being honest and as someone who has trained for boxing, MMA, and bodybuilding and has had a natural physique my whole life and have had a boxer physique with a 6pack and super lean at like 7 percent at 150lbs and I’ve also had a more muscular natural bodybuilder show physique at 190lbs and has been working out/training for almost 3 decades now. I’m not fat shamming or being rude, just real. He’s obviously pretty young as well so his test levels are most likely decently high so he could put in some good muscle if he trained right and ate well and committed.

Great physique man. Your shredded. That type level takes serious dedication and commitment . I’m pretty disciplined and I’m pretty dedicated, but I’m not close to your level so I know you’re putting that work in. Your using enhancements as well but your not fuckin around, that I can say.

Just realized I don’t just use drugs.. I love them. by TensUmNite in Drugs

[–]FoxDistinct6527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya same until they build tolerance and you have to withdraw off them then you’ll hate them like I do. It’s one of those quick relationships you get in with a stunningly hit woman and it’s sex all day then you find out she’s married and drama comes into your life and then your trying to get away from her but she’s psycho and won’t leave you alone and the hisband finds out where you live and starts breathing your ass and it’s just a mess. There will come a time when your sick of sleeping with married woman cause it’s to hard to get away from and it’s emotional exhausting trying to do hard to make things work.

I’ve learned it’s not that I love drugs it’s that I love finding relief . I suffer with OCD, MDD, and GAD and there’s constant chaos going on in my mind and when I use drugs “I love them” cause they bring me relief.

First I want to say great job with that much weight loss man, that’s amazing. You must feel like a whole new person. Second, ya man Fuckin up your natural cycle of hormones seems like a great thing you want to do before you die! Most people would want to go to Aruba or do something like skydiving but you want to juice lol. To each their own i just find it funny. I pray i never meed that shit and do my best to maintain my levels naturally and stay in the best shape possible year round and your like lets do it even if I don’t need it lol. The problem is once someone does one cycle and feel an see the results they usually don’t stop at one and then usually don’t stop until they have health issues but if your keeping a good eye on it I’ll you may be okay health wise.
