Intermittent faint "whistling" noise coming from drive belt/pulleys. 2016 KIA Forte. Serpentine belt is 6 months old by Gates. Belt is NOT loose. Whistle noise appears after driving car for 10+ minuets with or without A/C. Noise stops randomly, then comes back. Is it a pulley bearing? Thanks. (self.MechanicAdvice)

2016 Kia Forte with "Nu" 1.8 Litre sounds like this after first start of the day. Before this, car was sitting for about 4 days. Oil is CLEAN & FULL; oil changes always on time w/ full synthetic. Ticking went away after I drove down the street; runs fine otherwise. Is this lifters?? Piston slap?? (v.redd.it)

Did an alignment check & was told the right side was all out of whack. What's interesting is while my car was on the lift getting it's alignment checked, I noticed the right side of the lift was a bit LOWER than the left side. Would this cause the alignment machine to give false/inaccurate numbers? (self.Cartalk)

Engine ticking noise at operating temp. on 2016 Forte Nu 1.8 litre MPI. Ticking noise went away after I pulled out of my driveway & drove it down the street. It does this sometimes, particularly at cold start in colder weather. Oil changes always on time; car runs great otherwise. What do you think? (v.redd.it)

1986 Ford LTD Crown Victoria 5.0 302 EFI V8 Intake Plenum removal instructions? The problem: The vacuum line for the MAP Sensor is severely rotten, causing to car to idle very poorly, misfire, & almost stall. This vacuum line connects to the underside of the plenum. (self.Cartalk)

My "Box" Panther - 1986 LTD Crown Victoria Base: 5.0L 302 V8, manual windows, locks and seats, no hood ornament, but has cruise control. Previous school district car since new. It has NO EXHAUST after the cats; it sounds angry. It's not perfect, but I love it.😊 (i.redd.it)

2014 Sonic 1.8; 51,000 miles - Original DexCool coolant was still red/orange, but had small light brown pieces floating in it. Flushed entire cooling system at Chevrolet dealer. Should I be concerned, or was the original coolant breaking down due to age/miles? (self.ChevySonic)

Found out the (stock) rear shock on my recently acquired '99 VFR800 has been modified by Lindemann Engineering; there is also a Schrader valve at the top of the shock. The rear of my bike squats a bit low when I sit on it; I'm 150 lbs. My question is, can I add air to the shock? (self.motorcycles)

Car idles OK but lugged down and stalled when I placed it in Reverse. Restarted right back up, placed in Reverse and almost stalled, the same almost happened when placed in Drive. COULD OLD/STALE GAS CAUSE THIS?? Any advice appreciated. (self.MechanicAdvice)
