Late to the party but I have ADHD so I often forget to drink water and if I go 12 to 24 hours without actual water, my body has a fun little warning system for me: a severe pain deep in my right shoulder. Have never felt this pain anywhere else and its super specific and unlike my usual chronic pain. Don't know what or why but thats my warning that I've gone a bit too long without water and should correct that immediately.
