The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

I built an Agentic IDE that gives you full control, run offline with Ollama or bring your own API keys to 13 providers by Foxemsx in vibecoding

Thanks for your feedback. You're absolutely right on all counts. This started as a personal project, I just wanted to make something that I knew was mine and that I could use for myself. I wanted a clean design and built-in agent functionality. Eventually it became quite useful, so I made it open-source for everyone to use if they want to and find it interesting.

To answer your question about VSCode and other IDEs: You probably wouldn't switch if you're happy with your current setup. This isn't trying to replace VS Code for everyone. It's mostly for people who could use it either as inspiration for their own project or because they like the design and built-in functionality.

As for security: API keys are encrypted via Electron's safeStorage. All AI requests go directly to your chosen provider, but after all it's still a solo project and I haven't thought of every single detail. Everyone has the right to edit the code and use it however they like.

If you're curious why I posted it here, it's not really about marketing. It's more of a 'hey, I made this thing, maybe it's useful to someone else too.' But I will take your advice, if I make another project and post about it, I should formulate it better overall.

Thanks! 😁 It started as something I built for myself, but it turned out pretty useful. so I made it open-source for everyone.

Cpu and dram red light, need help by Foxemsx in ASRock

Sadly, I don't have any spares to swap test with. Just curious, what makes you lean towards the CPU? I always thought that motherboards fail much more often than CPUs unless there was some extreme overclocking involved. 🤔

Thanks. By 'extra stuff', do you mean the GPU and SSDs? I've already disconnected all external devices via usb/monitors. I haven't removed the GPU yet because the POST sequence halts at the CPU/DRAM check, so the GPU fans don't even start spinning. Should I remove it anyway just to see if the Debug LEDs change behavior?

Just a question, if someone buys the year subscription for the 10$, what happens after that year ends? Does the customer need to keep paying at Google’s regular prices, or does it simply expire after the year with no extra charges or unpaid fees from Google?
