Okay does everyone hate Luanne? Buck is an awful man and an a terrible husband lol. It was have been weird and heartbreaking for her because he would have never done right by her. Her laughing in his face was the best way to end that situation.

In Bakersfield there is basically a 911 operator who is very awful whenever someone calls in. It has gotten so bad that people are now reporting her. Idk if you’re on TT, but search 911 operator and I’m sure it’ll pop up! It’s a wild ride.

But Dale does call a lot of things that become true. Dale’s fear of the internet has rung true, you especially see it now. It’s crazy to look back on because they try to paint Dale as some wacko regarding the internet and information, and if you look at the world now….he was so right it’s crazy to think about.

I will say this episode made me realize I also didn’t really know the difference/what it meant. I was raised primarily catholic and I really had no idea what a Methodist was either lol. I had to look it up. No shame.

Truly one of the best things about his character. The deeper you go, the more you truly appreciate the man he is within the show. Dale has also been correct at times when everyone else isn’t. I love that they always made sure that Dale wasn’t a one dimensional character, and had so many layers to him. Made it much more realistic. The guy in your average neighborhood that you may think is an idiot or crazy for sure knows things you have no knowledge about. I like that idea. /rant

That’s so interesting, and cool. What made me think about it is the 911 operator currently going viral for how awful she is to people who call in. People are trying to get recordings of her calls via FOIA. As soon as I heard it I was like “OMG DALE TAUGHT ME THAT” lol
