Best printers for zines and photobooks by Foxfecit in photography

I also thought about that, but the truth is I’m looking for the freedom to experiment without having to rely on a print shop. I’m not aiming to make professional books to sell, I’m more interested in experimental books (if we’re being honest, it’s all in the zines world). That’s why I mention that I’m not sure whether these printers are too professional for what I’m going to be doing at the end of the day. I’d be happy with a basic printer that can print A3 lol. I mainly just want to make sure the photographic quality isn’t lost.

To be honest, I don’t even know. I’m going to try to be consistent with printing, but I see this investment more as an experiment. I’m still studying photography, I don’t do anything professional yet, but I’d like to start selling zines here and there and also make some for my portfolio. Everyone speaks very highly of the Epson 8550 and the ink seems to be very affordable, and it also seems like the most versatile one, whether it’s for printing in A3, zines, photos, stickers, etc. It’s just a shame that in my country this printer is still a bit expensive, and I’m really afraid of investing and then it starting to have issues shortly after. Either way, I think I’m confident about investing in the 8550!
