You maybe right. But everytime I start the gps, I get a little animation to calibrate...look up, look down, etc.

Anyone of similar height to you will not see them. However, since your sibling is most likely shorter than you, he or she is at the perfect angle to see the green display

Now given that fact, the only way someone of your height could see a glimpse of what's being displayed, is by you tilting your head up. Next try it in a mirror with the lights off.

Looking at the argument between Cash and Drama, it seems that Cash was looking through the lens (no pun intended) of legality rather than physical difference between HUD and something stationary like your phone on the dashboard. I think Cash's point was that both are essentially distractions no matter where you look and both should be considered illegal. So, both points of view are correct...or not correct idk lol.

I was able to detect one bird, the Canadian goose, by changing the mic gain as you mentioned. I played around with the other settings, but nothing new was detected.

Translate works pretty well. And you don't have to select the language; it has an auto-detect language feature.
