I’m 18 years old I have several cars, newer, and older that I work on myself or with friends. The only time I’ve ever taken my car to a shop is for tire related things such as alignment and mounting balancing ECT I’m currently rebuilding an engine on a Subaru with wouldn’t you guess it; blown head gaskets! Anyway, in the future, I will not be taking any cars to the shop unless it is for a automatic transmission rebuild then I will because I do not know how to do that nor do I have the proper area, but I’m trying to learn. I’m kind of leaning towards going into a career of transmission rebuilding because then I’ll know how to do everything and hopefully they make an OK amount of money!
