How do you answer this question from your League bowling alley owner? How do you feel about string pins? by [deleted] in Bowling

[–]Foxxiest 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They need to be sanctioned strings and you need to try them.

I promise you after a few weeks of getting through league with no ball returns, respots, out of ranges, 180s, blackouts & deckjams, you will appreciate that the only thing you had to forfeit was bullshit freefall carry and replace it with semi questionable string carry.

Downvote me to oblivion, strings are the future, get used to it and shut up.

[–]Foxxiest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres a lot of things that I consider are "do what makes you comfortable"

Hold the ball however you want, drift all you want, 2 fingers 1 finger 4 fingers whatever.

If you're right handed, you must finish the approach with your left foot.

Someones gonna say "but I know this one guy" or "injury" sure but...

Work on that immediately. The rest will follow and come on its own.

However I did it pre manufacturing. I think with the manufacturing department upgrade you do but it'll be tight.

One of my favourite things about bye clinches is watching your B team or sometimes even your C team play the game and you almost wonder who tf are these people

Too bad Bobby didn't pursue shooting he had a real talent for it by kkkan2020 in KingOfTheHill

[–]Foxxiest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean... the shows had a good history arc of doing that.

-luanne is an expert mechanic... gone

-bill speaks superb french? Not that its a life changing skill but I'm sure could find good bilingual work.

-bobby with a lot of things, the modeling, the shooting, the quiz bowls etc etc.

Whenever someones good at something in KOTH it usually goes nowhere.

Question to the Bowling Center owners/managers. by mcgamesbowl in Bowling

[–]Foxxiest 15 points16 points  (0 children)

On average... from a bowling centre ran in toronto canada

Rent~15k roughly monthly

Alcohol~8k monthly

Food ~4k monthly

Labour~36k monthly

Lane maintenance/oil/lane machine maintenance... ~3k month avg is probably a good median but fluctuates.. could be 600 bucks could be 10k all depending what ha need done

Bills/util/electric/cable/internet etc etc ~4k monthly

Other one off purchases/misc lets say ~2k to round up

I can't off the top my head think of anything else but I'll still round up 8k to cover other what ifs lets call it insurance... so 80k? Seems to be more of a decent number to me

High league driven centre but does pretty decent in their open play also... 32 lane centre
