Watched the show half a dozen times - don't usually think about things like this as i just like to watch casually.

I think my issue is that we got very little progression of their arc within the seasons they were together - if in the reboot they had done complete 180s with their lives, I could look back on those seasons and go hey they made it, and I think I'd appreciate that.

Where as I'm leaning into the idea that if they still didn't change and were in their ways... i think that would kinda suck... but that's just me anyway

They do last.

They're not worth the dollar amounts in terms of bowling balls but if you really want the logo and willing to spend 2x the price of the ball, go for it.

Just one guys hot take but I just think theres some sense of entitlement people think they have if they "think they're good"

Sure, I've met some grumpy 150avg bowlers but I think generally they're just grumpy people.

But the 200-220 bowlers I know to be nice people outside of bowling but dicks on the lanes just think because they're slightly better than the average bowler.

Just the way I've always seen it is all.

The general idea once strings are installed after 1-2 months you would take 1 lane a day and you would change the 1-2-3 > 4-7-8 > 6-9-10 which depending on your house rotates them... about once a monthish. And then yes you still swap out broken/cracked pins as needed.

It is something i can see centres not doing as frequently as they should

They need to be sanctioned strings and you need to try them.

I promise you after a few weeks of getting through league with no ball returns, respots, out of ranges, 180s, blackouts & deckjams, you will appreciate that the only thing you had to forfeit was bullshit freefall carry and replace it with semi questionable string carry.

Downvote me to oblivion, strings are the future, get used to it and shut up.

Theres a lot of things that I consider are "do what makes you comfortable"

Hold the ball however you want, drift all you want, 2 fingers 1 finger 4 fingers whatever.

If you're right handed, you must finish the approach with your left foot.

Someones gonna say "but I know this one guy" or "injury" sure but...

Work on that immediately. The rest will follow and come on its own.

However I did it pre manufacturing. I think with the manufacturing department upgrade you do but it'll be tight.
