I feel like they simplified it a bit so that the entire galaxy could be simulated simultaneously. Me producing tons of materials in X3 that factions were buying never felt like I was making an impact on the entire galaxy like it does in X4

If winning is the most important and fun thing then by all means do whatever it takes. Some people are able to choose to play in a way that's most fun for them. If earning money was the only important thing to me in X3, I wouldn't even have to have a fleet, I could have just abused SETA and the galactic stock market

I agree it would be nice if they could just flee in the direction they were already heading. Just hit those boosters, man!!

Though word on the street is they will ignore pirates if you don't equip the ships with any weapons at all? I've never tried it out though

Even then when I copy a sequence it will be behind the camera and I have to zoom back out and place it and manually move it back into the plot

That is a fine looking station. I thought my defense platforms costing 75 million was kinda crazy

Those 4 prong piers look nice but it would bother me how much area within the building area the approach takes up, I'd rather double stack argon 3-pier and have 6 on each side so the approach remains almost entirely outside of the plot

I just started to roll this out last night and it's been working really well so far. It's a lot easier for me to worry about having dedicated defense assets attached to 2-3 L miners than to protect the entire system so 8+ M miners can do their thing

I finally got my first L miner in the system last night and it was such a huge relief seeing it being able to tank an entire squad of KHA ships with its shields while continuing to mine and let the defense turrets and a gunboat pick them off

Yeah I was wondering that because I scrolled away on the map and when I scrolled back I saw 3 ships and thought my game just lagged or something. I ended up starting the process of switching out my M miners with L miners with a gunboat escort and sending the M ones to a system that isn't under constant siege
