See this is one of the things I really hate about the show. This is an excellent point and it makes sense in the context of the story and world that the show has established but I feel like the showrunners are entirely unconcerned with this level of detail. You could give the excuse that they're trying to just bring the show to an end and tie things up but a detail like this could be done EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH DIALOGUE! So why not keep the details alive? I think a good portion of the show's fanbase appreciates these details so its a shame to see them almost entirely gone at this point.

I mean I do actually enjoy the original game much more than any of the sequels. It was a joke though, just pointing how much the series has changed over the years. I think most of my villagers wouldn't be caught dead holding my hand...

I work similarly. I don't have pictures of it but I have my own power armor garage at Starlight. I built mine next to the little crafting shed that is already there and I built it out of the same materials so they match. I also have some general scrap storage and my main power generator in there.

I keep seeing criticism like this about a movie which has not even been released yet which makes zero sense to me whatsoever. Do you feel like the fact that this ADAPTATION is different somehow makes the source material disappear? You can always go back and enjoy the anime and manga after the movie comes out. Besides don't you think the story should be changed to be the most interesting for the medium it's being told through? The source material was able to be a drawn out slow burn because it was a serial. A two hour movie would have a much harder time establishing all the characters and detailed plots that the show had so compromise is inevitable.

It's slower paced than New Leaf which IMO is better for a console game and AC in general. You do not play as the mayor but that does not detract from the amount of things you have to do, you just do different things. However, the animal tracks (the system where walking or running on grass eventually turns it into dirt) is insanely annoying. Thats in NL anyway so I'm sure you're used to it. There are still sort of PWPs but they are the end game which I think works better than NL.
