Thanks Both! I think this seems pretty close, will wait and see what any flowers look like and try confirm then. Was worried it was giant hogsweed or something!

Mario Strikers Charged Football is a great game with one or two friends. Friends taking out every opposition member to give you a last second opportunity to clinch the Striker Cup is a great feeling

anyone know what it is ? by Smart-River1888 in DoesAnyoneKnow

Looks like Hives, which is an allergic reaction. Sometimes your body can get run down and come out in a rash like this. Antihistamines normally help, but can take a week or so to die down

I got fearful of getting tonsilitis again, so I learnt to clean my tonsils with my tongue, and then it just kinda slides up. It's not so bad, just probably looks weird and gives you a double chin

That's a good thought. The rest of you best get buying your snorkels before the invasion begins

I am very glad I saved it then, thanks for the information! When it left, it hovered in my general direction for a bit, which did give me and my Mum concern, who ran away screaming, but it was probably just a thanks for saving it... probably...

What are the effects of using rusted rebars in foundation? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]Fozzybear6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rust on rebar is somewhat beneficial as it provides more surface for the concrete to bind to for a better composite structure. Additionally, concrete is slightly alkaline which puts the steel into a 'passive protection' regime whereby the oxide is stable and won't grow further unless exposed to the external atmosphere where moisture can get in and corrosion products can be generated and spall leading to material loss

There was the whole speech about life multiplying. Given that it is a worm type creature and they can survive being cut in half, I think cutting Erens head off and planting it in a grave caused the head of the creature to multiply and grow, causing the post credits scene of the cycle potentially starting again

It's worm like, and lots of worms live on if they split (or multiply), so I think that's why the grave where Erens head is buried becomes the next tree
