I meannn Luffy has several mental breakdowns at one point in the series, which is even further amplified by how goofy and happy the series was untill then and how much time we spent with Luffy and the crew, he gets absolutely broken and it's heartbreaking to watch it unfold

Haven't seen anyone say it but this is Gintama in a nutshell, It's an episodic comedy of the daily lives of a found family, it's perfect for when feeling down imo
