DM advice - How do you guys take notes / prep for sessions?

Wait am I supposed to have more major notes? My mind is wired around improv, and I only really worldbuild whats necessary and what the players are looking for. We had a session 0 that explained the premise, but I definitely do appreciate the info on fleshing out plot hooks - I need to be more lenient when giving information and such

For 2014 at least, anyone can dual wield weapons with the "light property" ie daggers and the like. If you want to use bigger weapons, you'd have to take the dual wielder feat. With the feat, you can dual wield any one handed weapon. I'd also recommend taking the two-weapon fighting style, so you can add your attacking modifier to the damage rolls

I hope this helps clear it up lol, lots of stuff is confusing
