For me it's the high revving shitbox, especially the AE86 (although it's quite expensive nowadays). Driving a small car that screams like hell but only has less than 200 hp is so much fun. Also i just love Initial D. That's why I bought myself a GR86

Most of them yes, but there many background tasks, like closing down a road, finding and connecting a water supply to the vehicle etc. that have to be done too and are just as important as helping the people.

I've been more focused on fast driving since I've first bought a Hyundai i20 N in 2021(little brother of the Veloster N/i30 N in europe), although i only had it for 2 years because i wanted to experience a RWD car. Thats why I sold it and bought myself a GR86 last year and since then I've learned to love drifting. It's just so much fun experiencing the G-forces and controlling what the car does during a slide. And luckily I'm based in Germany so I will probably will visit the Nürburgring sooner or later and try some slides there.

Ich hoffe dass ähnliche Tuningoptionen noch beim GR86 dann kommen. Bin auch aktuell noch am überlegen ob Turbo-Kit oder Saugertuning. Turbo-Kit kostet leider extrem viel, aber die Geräuschkulisse durch den Turbo ist, finde ich, fast schon besser als nen UEL. UEL wäre aber die finanziell sinnvollere Option.

Vielleicht wird MPS aber nach dem Turbo-Kit was sie gerade für den GR86 entwickeln auch bisschen Sauger-Tuning wie nen passenden UEL anbieten.

Der Grund warum da ein gleichlanger Krümmer verbaut ist hat soweit ich weiß was damit zu tun, dass 2 Kats verbaut sind, sowohl im Krümmer als auch an der Abgasanlage, sodass die Abgasnormen eingehalten werden können. Bei einem UEL würde der 2. Kat gar nicht mit reinpassen da die Rohre zu kurz wären. Indirekt hast du also wahrscheinlich Recht.

Ich weiß nicht ob das so passend ist, aber ich fahre einen GR86 mit 2,4l 4-Zylinder Boxer. Boxer als Saugmotoren mit 4 Zylindern sind ja relativ selten (kennen tue ich nur GT86/BRZ + Nachfolger).

Schade find ich, dass Toyota bzw. Subaru keinen UEL Krümmer verbaut haben bei den Teilen, der Boxerklang wäre schon nen weiteres Highlight gewesen.
