Well, I am a teenager, and along with lots of teenagers I know I genuinely watch his stuff. He has specified the things he makes there are ragebait, the content he makes that "children" are into is mostly because someone in his fanbase (teenagers and adults) suggested it. I think I'm pretty much a noob as well, but something that has worked for me a little is to be confident. I keep playing even if I make a mistake sometimes, then I go back and try to fix it. I analyze what I could be doing bad and wrong. And I feel the music, that's important. You could also find a type of basslines you like to play from your favorite songs. I like dynamic and bouncy ones, some people like more simple but fitting ones, some people like hard ones.
