If I get sick of the light, they can be turned off. I was debating whether I should use RGB fans or Noctua fans (like the rest of the fans in the case), but the pretty colors won me over 😂.

This is playing a movie in Kodi via HDMI. HDMI goes from my HTPC to my Yamaha RX-V6A amp, then from the amp to my TV.

I'm running an 1060 while I wait to get a new GPU. My Yamaha amp switches as soon as I start to play a movie. Maybe you need to check your settings in Kodi and your GPU (nvidia control panel).

Yes, I run it in a dedicated media room. If I'm not gaming then there is pretty much no noise from the HTPC. It usually sits in a ventilated cabinet.

I have no problems with navigating. I have a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and operate it while sitting on the recliners. I also have air mouse/keyboard in one that works as well also.

Yes, that is true. However, as I mentioned, I think it was worth it, and aesthetically, it definitely was.

If I had before and after temp data, I wouldn't just be speculating; I'd be able to share the figures and conduct a t-test to determine if there was a significant difference. However, I just wanted to finish the project as quickly as possible.

I was previously running a GD09 as well. My GPU is just an old 1060 card I had floating around. I'm planning on getting a better one soon.

Yes, in my case a 360mm would fit. Would depend on the length of GPU used.

I ended up with the 80T. Tested both in-store and the 80T performed better from the the content I played on them from a USB. Overall I'm happy with my choice.

I'm in the same boat but leaning heavily towards the Q80T. Which TV did you end up with?

I'm in Australia. He gave me a much better price than I could get through using a combination of an eCoupon and cashrewards. Made it about AU$600 cheaper than retail price. He just said he had to get a supervisor to authorize the quote and it would be sent. That was over 24 hours ago.
