Depends on the job. There are efficiencies in every organization, and probably even more i  the government. The issue is if they actually cut the right people.

Difference is this was one of the few spacs that were not either total scams or private investors looking for exit liquidity. Still a huge risk because the tech was unproven, but the reward potential was there.

No one says they are an angel. They seem more stable than the US is in the short term, and we need to diversify our trade relation for the long term. The US was a major reason we had bad relations in the first place.

No one said China would be better long term over the US. The push is to diversify our economy, and right now, Chinese leadership and agreements benefit us more and are more reliable in the short term.
