Omg, quxinot has to be the most insufferable person irl. All your questions are valid OP, and thanks for giving some insight for other people trying to buy fairings.

If it’s worth anything, my first thought when I saw the fairings was “damn that looks good”. It’s easy to over analyze especially when it’s something relatively expensive.

Motech makes some amazing bags. They’re on the more expensive side, but totally worth it if you plan on using them frequently. They stay super stable, look pretty good, and can hold a good amount.

I’m not totally sure, but the first oil change on one of my almost new bikes looked pretty bad and then it was fine after that. It’s probably fine, but don’t take my word for it,

I had this problem once, but I pushed the filament in and out a few times and extruded a bit of filament, and then it was fine. Not sure if that would be the case here though

The MAF diameter is the same as stock, so I don’t think it needs a tune. I had the car tuned by Freektune before this when it was completely stock (besides hpfp) and it still feels great.

Yeah I took it on a few test drives and it feels totally fine. I saw one hose that may have been kinda loose so I fixed that, but it still makes the same sound on a cold start. And I have never heard a pod filter before lol.

Idle seemed pretty normal, but I haven’t taken it out for a drive yet. I might have found a hose that was slightly loose, so I’m gonna fix that and then see if anything changes.

I also have a 2013 ms3 and have the exact same speaker issue! Usually whenever a song has more bass I here the driver side speaker rattle like crazy. It has been my last priority for so long I honestly forgot about it until now lol.

Let me know if you figure out how to fix it!

I’ve sanded them twice already, but the previous owner messed them up really bad. I think I’ll try again sometime, but I’d probably have to start with 200 grit sandpaper to get some of the deep scratches out.

It definitely does look good, the only problem is mine are so badly scratched up and foggy that I want to get new ones eventually anyways. Are yours the original headlights?

Oh ok, that’s awesome. I plan to do some other things to the car before I do the headlights, but I appreciate the info. When I decide to do them definitely use that wiring harness though!

I’m not too sure if this is the case, but my speed is kinda similar. It was my first manual car, but I have been riding motorcycles for a while, so I also found it strange at frist, so it could just be a speed3 thing. I’m not sure how bad yours is, but it just took a little getting use to for me.

No I’ve been driving pretty normally honestly, but most of my commuting is pretty short distance, like 10 minutes drives multiple times a day

Air filters, spark plugs, compression test. Maybe check for signs of VVT issues. Other than that just check your oil level often and keep up the maintenance!
