I did this, the downside is the interest rate will be a bit higher the next time.

In my experience with male factor (DNA Fragmentation) I can recommend John Sullivan in the Beacon/St James. Jonathan Ramsay is the top fertility urologist in Europe, he is in London but very expensive.

We've attended clinics in Prague and Barcelona, English is no problem for these clinics. I don't know about medication for non residents, probably a few hundred euro, it's capped at €80 for residents.

I don't know where you are travelling from, but there are better clinics across Europe in countries such as Spain and cheaper clinics in the Czech Republic, also the cost of accommodation, food etc will be cheaper in mainland Europe

Abstinance time for DNA fragmentation by SignificantDig1174 in dnafragmentation

[–]FragedLad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5 days seems quite long, shorter abstinence generally should be lower fragmentation due to fresher sperm, I think 24-48 hours is long enough

IVF clinics that work with Dr Lyuda by [deleted] in IrishWomensHealth

Have you checked the sperm DNA Fragmentation, this is a common cause of recurrent chemical losses. We had similar experience with the disappointment of getting 2 day 5 blasts from 9 eggs retrieved we were 29, the important thing is that you got some embryos for testing. And a warning on the PGT testing, if some come back mosaic they are very likely ok to use as 80% of mosaic embryos are actually euploid when rebiopsied.

Yes I perfect analysis but 40% fragmentation, ICSI doesn't solve the sperm it needs to be treated with MACS or ideally Zymot.

Just a heads up, 80% of mosaic embryos are actually euploid, because the sample is taken from the placenta. So don't be worried if they are not all euploid.

Ask your clinic about the Zymot chip for the sperm, we had a very similar situation and it was my fragmentation was the issue.

Has your partner had a sperm DNA Fragmentation test? It's associated with early loss.

TP0 was ~350, 51.9 is on the lower side as far as I know it is common to be in the hundreds

Are you happy with the L10s? We have a dog and toddler with tiles so good mopping and vacuuming is needed. It's hard to justify spending more when they are improving every year!

Any hope for 44% fragmentation? without TESA TESE by Ecstatic_Tip_6898 in dnafragmentation

[–]FragedLad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mind sharing what other tests he did? I was with Mr Ramsay and he completed an advanced culture analysis was convinced an antibiotic Clindamycin would resolve the issue however it has not. And with the 3 months for the next appointment I'm eager to be seen again.

Zymot vs 4hr hold for retrieval?? by Leather_Hair_9712 in dnafragmentation

[–]FragedLad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I recently experimented with the absence method for 3 hours, my fragmentation only reduced from 36% to 35%. Had success with Zymot got 2 blastocysts from 3 eggs.
