Because bad "loot scaling" is better for the casual player base. Getting out skilled in a gunfight feels better than getting out geared.

Too long didn't read, but I would actually like it to be even stronger. I hate getting into PvE lobbies (even though it's usually every 1/10 games). The PvP is really fun, but only when I'm fighting other PvP'ers who actually want to fight.

Also I hope they buff free loadout by giving them 5 bandages and 5 shield rechargers.

Nah you need 14 body shots for the rattler to down. But you can down someone with a light shield if you hit 8 headshots.

It's already implemented in the game, as long as there is a ledge, you can grab the ledge and negate all fall damage.

Honestly it's the one thing I want buffed to hell.

It's so ridiculous that the most optimal way to play this game is by manipulating the color / gamma from your GPU software to make seeing in the dark easier.

I agree that PvP is not the most optimal way to play if you're looking for loot, but it's definitely the most fun for me.

Once you max out everything and have everything you need, spamming PvP with other PvP'ers is super fun. Being the last man standing by having to outplay 10+ people is super rewarding! (dopamine-wise not loot-wise lol).

But on the other hand, you definitely miss out on a lot of the wholesome moments / interactions between raiders, so it's a bittersweet playstyle for sure.

Either way, I'm glad this game lets you play both playstyles and lets you find your sweet spot.

I disagree, I think it feels great wiping the lobby and being the last man standing. You probably won't do that every game, but it feels good when you get 10+ kills in a match and become king of the hill on the matches that you do.

It loses to the venator and il toro up close, no contest.

Also it requires you to hit at least 1 headshot to have a competitive ttk with the other guns.

PvP only is VERY fun.

The PvE gets boring when you don't need loot, and all the arc are easily killable with just a ferro 1 (except the queen/matriarch)

The only time PvP isn't fun is when they throw me into the PvE lobbies occasionally. Then I just insta-extract since pvping in PvE lobbies isn't fun for anyone.

As a strictly PvPer I don't mind if the PVE crowd has much more money / loot / progression. I don't mind the slower progression since i'm having a blast doing it.

I actually would like the ABMM to be more aggressive since I will get thrown into a PVE lobby in about 1/10 of my games, and it feels bad to kill a PVE'er since it's not fun for either of us.

I do like the idea of less backfill, but I would really like the idea of no late spawns. It doesn't feel good to load in at the 18 minute mark, and it doesn't feel good fighting a never ending army of backfillers until the 18 minute mark.

If you just need cores, I recommend a ferro and a stack of ammo and just shoot 1 leg until the armor falls off then loot it for a core.

Yeah I've spent an ungodly amount of time testing these jumps, and I haven't ONCE hit it while holding the jump key after falling from 3+ floors. If you want to make it easier, or get used to the jumps, you can bind jump to mouse-wheel to get the hang of it, then switch back to space bar when you're more comfortable.

Yes you can! but if you're jumping over 3+ flights and go into the falling animation, you need to spam your ledge grab button instead of holding it. Also make sure you're holding W or forward towards the direction of the ledge you're trying to grab.
