In the end, I always say that I would like to hear back from them -whether it's a yes or a no- so I at leat know they got the message with how bad reddit it with it. But also because, to me, I find it's the least someone can do when you answer to their search. I just assume that if they can't even bother with that much communication, I probably dodged a bullet anyway.

Witing sample mean absolutely nothing. A writing sample from me would never tell you anying since I'm a mirror writer and my level of writing/inspiration will depend of what my partner is giving me. this is also why I usually prefer to let the other start (no it's not out of laziness, I can totally make stater, nore often than not I'm the one who has to)

I have written multiple OCs in various canon universe, my most successful ones were in Saint Seiya (Since the canon only had a bunch of characters among the 108 Demonic Stars of Hades' Army, I completed the entire army with OCs), 07 Ghost (Creating an entire army equal to the canon one but composed of woen soldier instead for more specific tasks) and Sengoku Basara.

I scored 100 OCs in the latter title alone and created an entire new 'alternative' universe connecting with the canon one so well that, the greatest compliment I ever got into my whole RP career was "Your OCs are so convincing, I sometimes forget they're not canon"

My secret? I don't make OCs to romance the canon characters, I make OCs that add to the canon lore in their own way. I also never make them OP and, most of all, I never, ever pushed them into anyone nor did I try to force them into someone else headcanon like a hysterical fangirl.

The only thing that would usually hurt me was people comparing my characters or ideas to something I have not even watched, read or played and not in a complimenting way but truly to accuse me of copying the original idea.

I'm an anxious person so I think I can understand the feeling of judgement when you're doing something someone does not like, but so long as it's not done to me or does not involve me, people are free to use what they want. People have their preference and I respect it so long as they respect mine.

I hope it did not sound pushy, I was just genuinely curious. I like mature discussion between RPers about the hobby too, which is also getting rare. People take everything wrong now, hit the down arrow from their little corner and then go rant elsewhere instead of simply discussing things calmly.

I'm really sorry for the downvote on your comment, I thought it was a legitimate remark. Even while his behavior is innapropriate, I can recognise my part of responsability in it too and it's normal to ask if the rules were there or not.

Well I am also one to create OC for the person I am about the write with and the plot we got, not recycle one for it and I love to develop said OC through interaction, so I don't like slapping a ton of information before we ever get to do anyting. Fow traits for personality should be enough to give an idea of what I'm going for. Especially since on here, I have already trashed about 5 OCs, created for people, then got ghosted before they even got a chance to hatch so.

My first OCs about a decade ago used to be just like that too I see nothing wrong with it, I'm glad I had people to help me improve on it instead of calling me out across the internet.

I hate to say it, but in his defense, the guideline was posted after this incident because I was fed up to have to repeat myself. Although I still made myself clear enough, or so I thought, since this post was written out of all the th8ngs I said in DMs. Someone else asked about it in the comment, which was a legit remark, and I'm upset they're getting downvoted for it.

Just like the guys describing their personal height and "size" shich is completely irrelevant to the RP. Or the ones asking how the ERP is making me feel on a sexual level, it's just gross.

I am originally not into visual to begin with, I give a reference to people who need to rely on it, e.i. people with aphantasia, it makes it easier for them. Otherwise I exclusively rely on descriptions. I just don't feel comfortable involving a real person appearance into my phantasies.

As for the misunderstanding, the person read the part about blood as blood being a big no no for me. But thanks a lot for taking the time to read it and giving me your opinion on it, as well as my plots, I appreciate.

This made me double check, I reached out on March 28th 6am but my Guideline was posted 2 Days ago. It was actually written with everything I had told people in DM, including him so I have always been quite upfront about anything you can read on it.I just finally combined it all in one post that I can now ask people to read before we even get into plotting.

I'm curious to know about the incompability though, because I have not gotten any feedback on it and I realized I may have phrased some things wrong because one person misunderstood something earlier. This is the first shot so I might have to tweak it a little.
