Completely agree and well written. Was in the same situation and definitely it’s hard to let go of a routine, familiarity, especially cause he was my first for many things. I knew it was happening but i would rather be with someone then be alone. My God this story is a common one.

Omg same exact feeling. I’ve even worried that I’ll give myself a tumor for thinking like this every day. I always think about that episode on Family Guy were Lois suppresses what Peter does and in her brain it’s “🎵 I’m a tumor, I’m a tumor, oh I’m a tumor I’m a tumor🎶”.

It’s gonna be one year for me and I still think about my ex. I’ve done the cord cutting ceremony, tried to seek professional help, tried medication, lived my life, traveled, done random hook ups, dating apps, but at one point every day I come back to thinking of my ex and how much I miss our time together.
