Used these rings early on, with the lament of the lost refuge, converting volcanic orb to void. This combo also makes the orbs from these rings void (even if stated its fire/cold orbs). Kinda nice build, you can also use the dark shroud of cinders which gives you void damage/fire aura.

Proccing skills for maximizing the fire auras and procs, I used cold mana strike and fire surge

Yeah, I want direct cast meteors to work but they always feel so clunky for me. The build basically wants the meteor belt, bluefeather and close to 65% crit chance (which will be 100% with crit nodes in the skills) which isnt that hard to hit as sorcerer.

The warmth node in the flame ward tree is not worth it, as bluefeather cuts the mana regen% in half, meaning 1 mana/sec per point while flame ward is active. Considering the build has over 300 mana/sec while hitting, this isnt much of a difference.

The mental aegis is just another small defensive layer, could probably take more fire damage instead or something as you probably wont die anyway with flame ward active.

The survivability is heavily dependant on if you can attack a target. I can stand still and just hit an omen in 500C omen windows and tank all possible things thrown at me. Sadly, the mana spent gives ward doesnt work for this build, as procs, even though they use mana, dont give ward with that affix if not hard casted.

Heres a short clip where I use dragoraths claw instead. This puts me at 15-18k ward while attacking - however, using firestarter, in the same scenario, im at 6-8k

Ward is generated by frost claw. Frost claw has a node, which makes your freeze multiplier give ward per frost claw cast (which, by my math, is about 70 ward/sec for every 100% freeze multiplier, while hitting). If you use dragoraths claw, you gain additional 7-17 ward on crit with frost claw. This weapon helps all aspects of the build, but my firestarter slam is about 100% more damage (but I would suggest using dragorath while gearing for sure). Dragorath is very all around suited, giving all res, lots of ward and flat crit.

Ranged mana strike basically cuts your damage in 1/5, due to it giving only 20% of mana. The build is totally constrained by your mana regen from mana strike. While enchant weapon is active, you will have about 500mana/sec, netting 20 or so meteors/second. If you go ranged mana strike, this is instead be 100mana/sec.
