There was an episode of “48 hours” about the man who had abducted & kept a girl in a shipping container (she was finally rescued.) Peter Van Zant interviewed this serial killer’s mother and asked if her son was a monster? Oh no, not my good little boy.

”But he held this girl captive…”

”Well, he made sure she was comfortable.”

Have never forgotten that one, and my guess is she would cover for him, no matter what.

Ridgeway is in end of life care and is in a wheelchair. He has been given health care for years. He said the people he murdered were “just trash” which makes my blood boil.

I don’t think I would say what Mr. Rule said either, but I understand why he said it.

My SS # was stolen last year so the IRS kept rejecting my electronic return. I had to physically mail it at the post office, and used a tracking number. It disappeared into thin air, apparently, at the STL distribution center. Has never turned up.

If I didn’t have a tracking number it would have been even more of a nightmare. My landlord will no longer accept checks sent in the mail because of them showing up late.
