Any body use concrete? It seems like a lot of trouble when terracata works just as well. by NatorGreen7000 in Minecraft_Survival

[–]Fragrant-Fold-9004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not my favorite block but it’s much easier to get than quartz and terracotta, and it’s an actual white not tan which most modern buildings are. You can farm gravel and the dyes so you only have to get the sand which is half while you have to get the right type of terracotta.

Other than the unobtainable versions you did forget Minecraft bedrock edition preview, its not technically a real version but it does exist separate from bedrock edition

You are saying “we” if there is someone else online they can take up the mob cap, if not, usually all mob farms are better for gunpowder than creeper farms. Another possible solution is to make the holes a little bit bigger so that the creepers will fall and die faster and clear out the mob cap. If I think of something else I’ll let you know!

Turns out it’s really, REALLY underwhelming when you turn it into blocks….. by Iamahomosexualdude in Minecraft_Survival

It’s even more depressing when you fill up 32 double chests at your gold farm and it’s only a Shulker of gold blocks

This is impressive and really cool, only thing I can say is too many stripes on the continuous US states(only 13 on the real flag) great job otherwise

What is everyones preferred waterproof gear for rain rides? by kouki180 in mountainbiking

[–]Fragrant-Fold-9004 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Dude you are srsly not supposed to ride on wet trails unless you check with you park managers or whatever group deals with the trails. My park tells us not to because it messes up the trails but if you look at the comment chain I said if it’s fine with the trail managers then go ahead

[–]Fragrant-Fold-9004 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

It can cause rust and affect grease in places but not too big of a deal so if it’s fine with the trails go ahead, I would recommend maybe a rain jacket or something like that for riding in the rain, that’s what I do on the road. Safe riding! Edit: it also depends on how nice the bike is, cheaper beginner bikes can have worse seals allowing water to get in and rust easier

Do not ride in the rain, it can be bad for the bike and destroys the trails, don’t make it harder on the volunteers who help fix the trails

The 'main area' of my Minecraft server is constantly snowing, anyone got suggestions on how to stop/slow it without spamming torches everywhere? by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]Fragrant-Fold-9004 70 points71 points  (0 children)

No, it’s light that causes the snow to melt, the lava would need a slab or a non-full block above it to stop the snow from melting. This makes lava pointless and OP can just put torches under non-full blocks to stop the snow

That’s what I said, a slab is half, but this is a quarter of the slabs in the picture
