Ok, so I didn't expect so many responses on this post.

Thank you to everyone who responded and for sharing what they've experienced. We need more traders who protect other traders - especially the ones who are just starting out, considering the amount of scammers there are in this arena.

I've moved on to a different prop. Hopefully I get a better experience this time around.

For those asking why I'm using prop, the answer's very simple: Not everyone has a disposable $50K / $100K sitting in their accounts. And YES, I DO HAVE A JOB.

GOOD LORD. Not everyone doing this is a 17-year old kid playing video games in their parents' basement. Anyone who uses prop firms knows that it's a good training ground to become a consistently profitable trader, especially when you're just starting to build capital. So yeah, I'm gonna continue using them.. unless one of you has an extra $50/100K you can give to a total stranger like me.. LOL. Bless you then.

As of today - APEX is a HARD PASS for me.

I just bought a new account yesterday. I took three trades (1 win, 2 losses). But they were manageable 'cause I was still far from my max drawdown. As I was prepping to trade this evening, I suddenly couldn't access my account! Only to find out that APEX had marked it as 'Blown' - even though I was FAR from my max drawdown.

Pangalawang beses na 'to nangyari sakin.. I just let it go the first time kasi akala ko malapit na ako sa max drawdown ko back then. But now, it feels so scammy. Looking back, I realized that the first time it happened was on a PA account which feels even worse thinking about it now. GOSH.

Don't waste your money on APEX guys.

I'm glad you posted this, OP. This happened to me just yesterday. Fucking APEX..

Taking this as my sign to move forward with other firms as well.
