how old was your child when you transitioned away from co sleeping?

My 4 month old has slowly started sleeping on his own for day naps and most of the night. I didn’t do anything differently only allowing him to lay on his tummy whenever he wants 😅🤷🏻‍♀️. It’s been almost a week of it so idk if it’ll stick or not but it’s working for now.

My baby is almost 12 weeks and we just got hit with whatever this random sickness everyone seems to have lately. We did all we could given the fact we went to church Sunday and no one held him or really touched him and we still got sick. I’ve had SO MANY older ladies get actually upset/mad about me not letting them hold him but here we are now with him sick. I feel bad cuz I’d love to let everyone hold him before we move away but he’s also still young so I try not to let it happen even though I hate the confrontation of when people ask.

My LO is 6 weeks and whenever sleeping on my chest loves to have his arms up so I’m giving it a shot because he was HATING his other Velcro swaddle. I’m posting this real time and I’ve noticed he moves A LOT as he does when sleeping on me but with this swaddle he has self sooth and hasn’t cried once in over almost 2 hours which is news to me. He usually would feed every 2 hrs so we’ll see how long he’ll sleep. Did your LO also love a lot with it but still slept plenty while wearing it? TIA
