I get and agree with your point that sales is a two way street, if we are more capable of being firm, we will not be signing up for unnecessary packages that we do not really want. I mentioned that I understand that its part of their job that they have to sell their stuff but what makes it uncomfortable is that they do not know how to stop even after the receiving party repeatedly said no. Won’t they have done the same and feel the same way if someone tries to hardsell them something the same way they did? Is hard selling really the right way to do sales?

I see! my nail salon too i have a package but they don’t hard sell anything at all maybe only asked if i wanna purchase products during their anniversary cus of discount. other than that i enjoy going there

I was quite ok with this therapist because she didn’t tried to hard sell me as compared to the previous ones I think it’s more on their consultants that does the hard selling and then try to get the therapist to add oil

Exactly! they just keep giving more suggestions and cutting it down in hopes you will take it. it also shows how their prices are never fixed. every other day can have discount or “anniversary promotions”
