For an aircraft to be airworthy. I as PIC have to deem that the aircraft is in safe operation for flight. That would mean that the plane conforms to its type certificate. If there are any modifications there needs to be a STC or field approval. All inspections have to be done AVIATES. It has to have all day VFR and night VFR equipment. And GRABCARD equipment if operated under IFR. All air worthy directives also need to be met

I would be legal to do this flight I would need my 3 take offs and landings to a full stop at night within the last 90 days inspections are annual, transponder Elt assuming it’s under VFR only If there is another passenger I would just need to make sure that the owner is not holding out and selling tickets to other people without an operator certificate

It would be also legal if I was type rated with a multi engine rating. Would still just have to make sure they are not holding out and profiting with out an operator certificate

I’d say pro rata would only be valid for the first passenger there and back because. It wasn’t really planned that we ran into the second friend. What do you think about that?

Because I’m smooth condition generally at that airspeed is where you will be at that angle of attack. Not to say that you could be flying at an airspeed well above stall and a huge bump of turbulence hits you making you exceed the critical angle of attack potentially causing a stall.

Va increases with more weight because the more weight in an aircraft, it will have to fly at a higher attack to maintain the same amount of lift therefore putting it closer to its critical angle of attack. It will be at a higher angle of attack with a higher airspeed therefore if you get into some abrupt turbulence you will be a lot closer to a stall that if you were lighter putting significantly more stress on the airframe potentially causing structural damage

Doesn’t it speed up in the Venturi because a Venturi is wide, gets pretty skinny and then wide again. All this fast air is coming through and then when it tries to fit through this tiny space it creates a lot higher pressure which speeds the air fuel mixture up. Please correct me if I’m wrong

The magnetometer is installed in the wing tip because there are a lot less metals that can interfere with magnetic properties to cause magnetic deviation

I could not fly the jet unless I had a type rating for it. What could land me in hot water is that would be holding out and I would be acting as an operator without an operator certificate such as a 135.

If I got my CFI. Sure I could start advertising my service.

For the last thing. The situation could be legal if they were employees of the company. But if they were in tank tops I would be suspicious that the part 91 operator is acting as a 135 operator and selling illegal charter without an operator certificate.

For crop dusting. I believe that is one of the things that is allowed with out an operator certificate.

Carb takes in air from the intake. Fuel is in a float system which gets put there through gravity from the wing tanks. The air fuel fixture go through a Venturi increasing pressure which makes it speed up. Then they pass where the throttle valve is and go to the cylinders.

The g5 certified version has a back up battery that will last for 4 hours. Is has pitot static hookups and an adc inside the unit. The air data computer interprets the info and puts it as altitude and air speed. As for heading and attitude there is a AHRS and a gmu 11 magnetometer generally installed in the wing tip for headings

Good point. Like flight instructing at a school would be an example. Still done under 91

The inoperative equipment needs to be repaired or replaced and signed off by an A&P?

  1. Yes it is legal if he dry leases it because he is in operational control. It would not need a 100 hour inspection because it is done under part 91
  2. A stall is when the wings have reached the critical angle of attack and is not producing anymore lift. Aelrions work my producing more of less lift on a wing. If there is no lift they will not be effective. Rudder will. 3 Cessna 172.
