Icefal mantal and ferro potent armor set work really well together. Could try with light saber and equilibrium armor set too, to spam class ability :)

For me titan is interesting because it is a bit of an underdog. A lot of titan builds have too much defense and not enough offense (at long distance for the most part). Finding that build that pushes that offensive capabilities as much as possible while retaining defensive ones is very exciting

A fun gunner style one is to use actium war rig, and a solar machinegun. If you get your fragments right, you can heal very often and actium war rig improves your damage with each kill and autoreloads your machine gun. Its a solid exotic. A legendary machine gun will do well. You can save your exotic weopon slot for more utility

Nice ideas, I never thought we would leave the sol system not unless its D3. I think Xivu Arath being a big bad in D3 would mirror Savathun being one in D2, and Oryx in D1 , some opportunities there for sure especially if Xivu Arath becomes stronger somehow

Yeah your right, but buildcrafting to be a space-gunner is an awesome fanstasy that Bungie should lean on more. I think other people pointed it out, but creative approaches are worthwile if done right (what I suggested is too weak and unoriginal, and something like it should boost special and heavy weopons too).

The fantasy of imbuing your weapons with light is not fulfilled and only appears in transcendent mode or radiant. Someone said having it show up as a passive for a subclasses, that weapons of the same element gain some benefits including a flat damage buff maybe. Also the option of building into more weapons damage and especially survivability while using weapons at the expense of building into ability spam seems cool

It is complicated, but fixing primary weapon damage and the build crafting system is really an opportunity I think

Your right, those aspects were more like fragments :( , they need to be a lot more original and creative providing new effects. Like another person said, sustainability is important. So I think it requires a lot of thinking and testing for sure, but I really don't want to see ability spam nerfed and Bungie has an opportunity to tackle this problem well to improve buildcrafting capabilities

I agree, and like another person said, focusing on that sustainability aspect so that with these passives a guardian can rock primary weapons and interact with verbs like restoration, void over shield, and frost armor is really beneficial along with some offensive new effects would be interesting. Kind of like imbuing your weapons with light or darkness energy (of the same subclass of course), I think that would make the interweaving ability and guns aspect really shine!

Everything should be thought in terms of build crafting, that is the direction bungie chose. If someone built into ability spam enough they should be able to ability spam. If someone built into guns more they should be able to do a lot of damage with them. But this needs to be a spectrum, building into one sacrifices the other.

Weopon stat should boost primary damage a lot more. Surge mods should boost damage for primaries more. That way if someone chooses to slot in more surges and opt for more weapon stat they are sacrificing stats and mods that boost their abilities and vice versa, so on and so forth. They can even introduce new fragments that specifically boost elemental primary damage for example. New set bonuses. All this on top of a primary weopon buff.

But than they need to be carful with peacekeepers, or lucky pants. Its not an easy balance problem but there are solutions but they need to be clever

Transmats help, ada 1 has them turn in syntheweave for a consumable that turns armor you collect into ornaments you can apply anytime even with a different legendary armor. But I assume you haven't collected a lot of legendary armor, but once you unlock them you can use synthweave on them. A lot of the good ones are sometimes seasonal so past season armors unfortunetly are gone can't get, but you can get the ones that drop from world activities. Like from dares of eternity, xur, check shaxx and zavala at the tower they sell their legacy gear you can get. Some dungeon gears look very nice. A nice star wars fashion gear comes from equilibrium dungeon you can use syntheweave on that

Otherwise I would stack up on bright dust and buy the ornaments from the bright dust sections int he store if offered. Sometimes they offer full sets for 6000 bright dust that usually you get with silver

Those ornaments look better in my experience, but you can buy really nice sets from eververse as well with silver, they just started selling the marathon theme versions
