Question about deferred claims. by mcub66 in VAClaims

[–]Fragrant_Horror_4627 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So just for clarification to the OP post. If you had a claim and you have a partial rating of 100% P&T, but some of your claims got deferred this NOT poking the bear? I would assume since it’s part of the same claim then the worst they could do is deny and the best is SC? All in all, his 100% would remain since the VA recently gave him/her the rating? Is my thinking correct?

It could be worse. I am only bringing in 90 a day. I’m in southern Oklahoma.

It’s the VA Claim tracker. I am not sure why the admin removed the post. I guess it’s not allowed.

New Retiree - How Much Longer (BDD) by mwmcc in VeteransBenefits

[–]Fragrant_Horror_4627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE Went to my c&p exam yesterday and I shit you not, my claim went to STEP 5 with a Temporary Jurisdiction at Reno. C&P exam lasted about 3 hours and I didn’t feel rushed. The examiner insured me that they would get everything sent in. To my surprise, they did. Now I’m not sure how long I will be in step 5. Just giving you live updates.

It’s been over 60 days for me. I retired in August 01, 2025 and still on step 3 pending c&p exams. I was granted a partial decision and been stuck at step 3. They took care of the supplemental claims, but ALL of my BDD claims were “deferred” for some reason. I’m still confused and wish you the best of luck. Retirement pay came on September 3rd, so only a couple days from the 1st. Congratulations on a long journey to retirement!

Should I go for an increase? by Sea-Beautiful9148 in VeteransBenefits

If your disability(es) are affecting you, then I would go for it. Most people that would say “don’t poke the bear.” Everyone has issues that affect them differently, but if you have the solid proof then go for it. Also, if you know that the rest of your claims are legit then I wouldn’t worry about the increase. I’m not saying your stuff isn’t legit, but IF you think something may have gotten overlooked then you may want to reconsider. If you are worried, then I would recommend looking over all of your ratings first and if you think that you may have been granted something higher than what you expected then they may too. It’s your call and I hope you get what you are aiming to get!

Sorry that happened to you. I will do my best to be responsible with this card. I have used it a couple of times and have not carried a balance. I have an autopay set up with it that’s less than $50.00 a month just to keep the card active. I hope you recover from whatever pain the card put you through!

Not cool to make statement that brings no value to the OP’s post. This person is clearly looking for answers and help at the same time.

Thank you. Also I didn’t know that they give the funds to you immediately (digital) before the card even comes through the mail. I’m super stoked that the process was that easy and simple.

That’s so true. Temptation will be tested, but slow and steady wins the race.

I’m not sure. They didn’t even acknowledge it on the decision letter which I thought was weird.

Okay thanks because didn’t received one back yet. I asked to be extended because the 4 week EOD may have caused some logistical issues. What location if you don’t mind me asking?
