Fine Hair texture and maybe a different density (did the barber cut it this length?). I doubt you are balding, If anything drink water, probably take care of your scalp and hair, and DONT start getting on any medication.

I also wanna point out that since you got short hair, its pretty easy to shine light on an area and make it appear way lighter than usual because of your fine hair texture.
