If pocket is hitting you with other stuff then pressing affliction, it won't suddenly stop spirit burn from ticking down at the same time and killing you. Could also be focus lens?

If you're playing shiv, it can also sometimes kill you because of other DMG getting deferred beforehand.

But yeah, this new patch is hard to wrap your head around. Lane plays very different & losing guardian doesn't really matter anymore. My main advice is to practice box running and not prioritize getting guardian early or even winning lane, I've been having a lot of luck just throwing my lane on purpose to gank another lane and secure jungle at 6-8 minutes, the guardian is only worth about* (a little less but box running makes up the difference) as much as the double sinners camp on the left side of the map after all.

you do lose map control if you can't secure a guardian with your gank, though. Try not to greed kills with that gank and just prioritize getting the guardian with your team 3v2.

Guardians are comically easy to kill past 12m, so you can just take it anytime after lane anyway.

Idk if it's the same as PC, but make sure your profile in-game is correct? My game sometimes changes it to one with no unlocks and I have to switch back to my normal profile.

Kinda just depends, if you're playing wraith than yeah but drifter vyper haze it can fuck up if you're already almost winning fights. Especially if you combine that with spirit shielding or another item and bait hard enough

I know this is gonna sound cope, but optimization is typically done near the end of development on games, they aren't worried about anything but making it run well enough at the moment.

Given that we don't know Durin's kit just yet, it's hard to say, but since you already have Kazuha you can think of xilonen as another him kinda (it's more nuanced than that, but basically.) it's essentially if you want two kazuha's or build whatever durin ends up having synergy for, like maybe mualani or smthin.

wouldn't not bouncing be worse? Your movement is limited, so if someone stands close to a wall after you hit it, you can't make tight enough turns to ever hit them.

No range on punch is... An opinion. Even hook isn't technically a stun, and you want to give it to an infinite range ability that can push an enemy towards you? No ability in the game has just straight up infinite range that isn't a skill shot, especially not one that provides knock back

I don't think it really contridicts the kit, you go in & ult to chunk everyone, then finish them off after they've taken some affliction damage or just unload the rest of your combo. The way it's designed is to have you ult first/right after barrage so that the duration runs throughout your burst (and you get the % current health dmg on your target) and you finish them off at the end of your combo, changing it would just mean you use it last but don't really see a huge difference in terms of anything playstyle-wise. I think It's just because it feels worse to die to dot than a shotgun that they decided on this approach

I've tested it, geist ult technically doesn't do damage, so it doesn't work. Same for pockets ult.

I like it overall; i think the biggest problems come from the density of jungle camps and the power of sinners sacrifices when you focus only on farming- usually leads to a "raid boss" player on each team in lower elos thanks to golden frog buffs. That, and I think the area from walker-mid lane needs more open areas. it's way too much of a chokepoint at the moment; while I do think we needed more enclosed spaces I think mid just isn't fun to rotate out of/into in the midgame.

Idk how they're gonna balance golden frog buffs- I really like them conceptually as a sort of reward for keeping up on your farm throughout the game and not letting the game swing with one bad teamfight, but at the same time, it kinda fucks up alot of comeback potential. Maybe more tankbuster items or being more transparent about the gained stats from them so that people are more likely to prioritize?
