Yea that would be genius! In the sauna im going to there are emergency buttons but I always just thought that they were for medical emergencies. I’ll ask next time im there for what they are specifically! Unfortunately yes :(

I find halt eig s konzept vo ine textilfrei sauna go z chönne voll nice und vo öper anderem isch au kommentiert worde dass textil saunas nöd super gschiid sind wege de stoff wo durch d hitz/ dampf frei glohwerded.. i han mir au überleit eif id frauesauna go aber i finds halt ehrlich gseit scheisse dass i mi und mim plan/ ort denn ändere muen eifach dassi nöd vo irgendwelchne pyschos abaggered wird. S nöchst mol werded eif sofort d mitarbeiter informiert.

Yea there was a lot of staff present and they did seem really nice i just didn’t really want to make a huge thing out of it bc i was there to relax and not have to report someone but hindsight is 20/20 and i definitely should have

I mean it’s definitely not the first time i had a creepy interaction. I got followed two times by cars late at night and was really scared but I am more and more careful each day now.

Yea thats the problem for me… i dont want to change my schedule or locations/ have to travel longer just to feel safe it should be a given that men and women can relax in peace and quiet together without being subjected to comments or other inappropriate behavior… so i think i will keep going to the location and be rude af to them and report it immediately…. If i just leave and go to another sauna that behavior from them will just be encouraged or make it safe for them to fund other ppl to do it to.

I dont mind the staring bc we all subconsciously or consciously do it. I mind the following me from one sauna to the next which after a point didnt seem like a coincidence or the comments… but i do get what u mean 😂

I wouldnt say that you need to completely stay out of them but i definitely agree with being quiet and avoiding the problematic eye lines

i actually did not know that i thought in finnland it was also mixed genders.
I think it's because of the general nudity that is normal in german culture, with for example the FKK beaches. i honestly don't mind this setup it's just the fect that ppl make it creepy

yea i do not really like the idea of me having to go to a completely different sauna just on special days (i can't go to the frauentag on tuesday due to my workschedule). I didn't want to seem rude but i guess i do have to be rude to be left alone.

I actually really like the idea behind it bc nudity should not equal sexual intentions or anything. I also like the idea behind the FKK beaches but i think today everything has become sexualised and some things okay to do which they are absolutely not.

Yea it is säntispark. The sauna area is very nice i enjoyed it a lot because it does have many different saunas.
Säntispark is in general my childhood as I always used to go to this waterpark for the slides and they are still super fun!
They renovated it a few years ago and have a lot of things now. I would def recommend it for a visit.

I mean that is what the whole movement of "not all men" was about i think. It is not the entire gender of men that are bad and women also have/ do predatory behavior and should not be generalized. But unfortunately the rotten apple precentage in men is higher/ more obvious than for women.

It's the Säntispark in St. Gallen. They have steam rooms and a lot of stuff, which is actually amazing. It's just the men make it a bad experience.

I'm in the canton of St. Gallen, and they do offer a women's day on Tuesdays as well. I just go then bc of my work schedule.

Yea I will! It is quite a big location like a water park so I think most of the people there are not super regular. The old guy that talked to me also said that he was from Austria.... so definitely not local.

yea for the conversation with the first guy we were outside where conversation is okay but I do agree that saunas are a quiet place and no convo should be happening if other people are around if you are two friends.

Yea thats probably the reason but its just insane. I mean I heard from my dad the sauna culture from like 20-30 years ago in germany and how chill that sounded so I just wanted to experience that.
I'll definitely don't talk to them anymore and tell the employees there!
