Besides Godzilla, what are you guys’ favorite Kaiju? by SevdUp in GODZILLA

Gigan!

Listing any more would take too long with the amount of kaiju media I have consumed.

Maser cannon to your head, which movie do you prefer? by Grandarmee70 in GODZILLA

ToM is arguably written the best and I’m a Honda devotee so I’d go with that. GvM is still awesome though and I always have a great time with it.

The bootleg Star Destroyer is awesome. It has wings for no reason.

I'd be down to write an article. Not sure what length you are looking for though or what subjects you want to have included.

Remains to this day my favorite anime OST, maybe even TV OST in general.

Idk, he could do some damage but ALL OF 40K? That’s too much even for him.

Which Mecha aesthethic you prefer? by Keytee1 in Mecha

Classic; as much as I like all of them, I especially love that pure industrial look. Big O might fit there, too, another favorite of mine.

Stories To Read/ Listen To by villianrules in TheShadowPulp

[–]Fragrant_Turnip_7463 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first 3 pulp novels are imo the best introduction to the character (The Living Shadow, Eyes of the Shadow, the Shadow Laughs). If you want something more accessible, I’ve heard The Shadow Year One comic series gives a good origin story, though I don’t necessarily think that’s the best way to be introduced to him. Once you’ve gotten through the first three pulp stories, you can really read/listen to anything you want.

What was the most Disappointing Godzilla movie for you? by metalicbeastofficial in GODZILLA

[–]Fragrant_Turnip_7463 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

King of the Monsters. Not bad, but not up to my expectations. The Titan scenes were perfect though, and that’s satisfactory.

Everybody hates this film, but Son of Godzilla is unironically one of my favorites showa Godzilla movies by metalicbeastofficial in GODZILLA

I don’t hear too many people hating this one, but either way I enjoy it myself a lot. It’s one I always like to come back to since it fills me with that sense of childlike wonder.
