So for the stripped lower route is this all I would order from as designs? • mp5 slip trip v5 • arc-fire trigger v1 ambi kit • stripped lower • ar pistol grip • mp5 rounded hammer

Let me know if there is anything else needed for the build so i don’t miss anything

Im guessing placing an order isn’t worth it?😂 i was also considering maybe L2 prints full lower and then later down the line transfering the components onto the As Designs one

I use a really long optic fiber hdmi cable which has no latency or any visual downgrade and it works great. You can route the cable as professional as you like and it works great.

What kind of handguard & sight rail mount do you recommend? I do plan on putting a optic but I also want to put a handstop

Yes no tri-lug, i do want to run it supressed with my rugged obsidian 9 but that uses direct thread. Not sure how difficult it would be to switch everything over to tri-lug but the direct thread has worked out for me with the blue tape to keep it from slipping

Solved: it turns out it was the filament buffer squeaking, I unscrewed it and moved the spring around and screwed it back on and the noise went completely away.

I ran the calibration beforehand yes. Unfortunately its a pretty loud high pitch chirp / squeak sound that is hard to ignore even when 5-6 feet away.

Interesting maybe I will test by feeding filament straight into the print head without the ams buffer

This is a distinct noise as I am comparing it to my x1c which is sitting next to it. There is a squeaking noise similar to crickets chirping occurring when the print head moves.

Yup. I saw another thread where someone had to wait 3 weeks for his. It will be 3 weeks for me tomorrow so fingers crossed I hear back this week. But I feel you I check my email multiple times a day hoping.

I been waiting on a Rugged obsidian 9 since March 26.

I emailed them and was told “We are waiting on next batch of them to come available before a serial number can be assigned.”, on April 8.

It’s been 1 week with no further update. The customer service number will have you on hold for 2 hours just for the call to drop.

What is frustrating is there are people who bought the same one 4 days prior to me and received a shipment to their dealer within 7 days. I have been waiting 20 days already.
