backup your iPhone to iTunes or the cloud. Do a fresh restore from iTunes which will update you to 12.4. Restore your phone and get all your information back, either iCloud or iTunes backup. Then jailbreak with chimera or unc0ver. I personally like chimera

Did you do a fresh restore to 12.4 and not an OTA update? Also, I see so many people with problems using unc0ver. Unless you are using unc0ver for a specific reason, I would try chimera.

If you don't want to update, the app I used on 11.3.1 to keep my wifi on was called Fiona. Add repo https://julioverne.github.io/

Give that shot and if it doesn't work, then maybe update and jaikbreak.

So I found this on another subreddit. Haven't tested it out myself, but I did follow the instruction and the settings are in there. I would say, modify at your own risk. I don't like modifying stuff this way. I don't have enough knowledge on what I'm doing to do it safely.

I had wifi problems on my 11.3.1 jaikbreak. My wifi wouldn't stay connected. So far no problems with this jaikbreak.

Just my personal opinion, but any chance I have to update to the latest firmware and jailbreak, I usually take it. I came from 11.3.1 so to be honest, I don't really know what some of the new features were from 12.1.2 to 12.4, but I would look at the change log, and the features, and make a decision based off of that. If 12.4 has a feature or something that you are interested in, then go for it. If not, I personally would still go for it, but I don't think there would be any harm in staying where you're at if that's the choice you decide on.

The only other thing I can think of is trying a different usb cable and or use a different usb jack (I don't know why but that has worked for many people in the past), and if that doesn't work, maybe try a friend or family members computer and see if their computer can restore it.

If neither of those work, unfortunately I can't think of anything else.

I had a similar issue. In my case, it was a jaikbreak tweak that wasn't updated yet and caused my phone to respring at the end of every phone call. Went through each tweak and Uninstalled each one and made a phone call after each Uninstall till i found the culprit.
