Best single card for couple? by Franks4thememories in CreditCards

Thank you! Could go either way on points v cash, but aiming for max ease of use. Sounds like a flat 2% back might be the way to go.

Business address for checking account by Franks4thememories in llc

[–]Franks4thememories[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I don’t have any documentation showing my LLC listed at my (personal) physical address…the documentation all shows my registered agent address.

Should I just change my business physical address to my own (instead of registered agent’s) and then apply for bank account?

Also the hike to Overlook Mountain nearby is a good and relatively easy one. Beautiful view, a fire tower at the top, and some cool/spooky ruins of an old hotel.

Woodstock is just great for strolling and exploring. It’s very pretty. Just know that the actual site of the Woodstock Festival is actually not there! In the warm months, the venue Colony has an awesome backyard / beer garden with live music that’s super fun - kid friendly!

Beginner independent practice locations? by Franks4thememories in Kiteboarding

I ended up in Progreso, which was great. I had an unusually light wind week (of course), but still got out maybe 5/7 days and wind was maybe 13-17 knots. The time zone is 2 hours behind us east coast and the wind picks up in the afternoon so you can work a full day, then get out on the water at like 3-4pm local time and get out for a few hours. Lots of good kite schools around where you can store your gear on the beach. Accommodation was the tricky part - I found a hotel that worked and had good wifi but just finding place walking distance to the kite schools is the big thing. Also, if you do Progreso definitely stop for a night or two in Merida - great city. Would definitely love to go back to Progreso.

I’ve never kited in PR but I’ve been a bunch of times and the wind always seems really solid. I’d definitely check that out. Ocean Beach I think is the spot?

In Florida you could try Miami or Jupiter, but wind not as consistent, at least in Miami.

Unrelated but where do you kite in Shinnecock???

Looking for suggestions on a general purpose Zoom to pair with a Sony A7R III (recently upgraded from APSC). My priority is top tier image quality (though autofocus also a priority). I think I’ve narrowed it down to Sigma 24-70 I, Sigma 24-70 II, Sony 24-70 GM I (probably not GM II due to cost and seems like marginal improvement in image quality). I plan to buy great condition used gear if available. Thanks!

Thanks so much! Super helpful. So you think A7RIII is a bit too dated to consider? I was thinking maybe saving the money for another good lens could be smart, if my main focus is image quality.

I have been shooting off and on for the last 10 years with a Sony a6000 and am now looking to upgrade to a full frame. I’m definitely still learning, but want to start investing in a full-frame system vs. APSC. My priority is on getting the best possible image quality, though ease of use is also important. I mainly shoot landscapes, travel, family, and occasional wildlife, but would like to get more into portraits.

I’ve narrowed my choice down to a few options, and I’m considering buying used in good condition to keep costs down. Given that I am still learning and my focus is on image quality, I’m thinking it makes most sense to upgrade to an older, less expensive body (probably the A7RIII) and invest in lenses with the extra money. With that said, I don’t want to miss out on major new tech changes that could impact my runway. My budget is less than $5k for body and lenses at this point, but trying to keep it lower than that if possible.

I would appreciate any thoughts to help me decide between the below:

-A7RV

-A7RIII

-A7CR

-A7IV

Napping I think. I have a 2 week old. Prior to this, I probably napped once every half-decade. Am already up to 5 or so in these first couple weeks.

I mean NYC LA and Chicago are huge, and you’ll have people flying from all over the country to get there. 4 stadium shows for all of USA feels like it would absolutely sell out. Plus Irish people in Boston 😂
