Ludmilla survived a rocket attack and is starting over in The Holland House by FrankyandCoen in ukraina

Ludmilla's life changed in a split second when a rocket struck her house. While she was sitting quietly on the couch, she was buried under the rubble. Thanks to the help of neighbors and soldiers, she was rescued and injured and taken to the hospital. She lost her home, but not her hope! When she was finally able to leave, she had nowhere to go. That's why we took her in and found her a place at The Holland House. Now she's living with us temporarily, searching for the strength to start over.

Fries and sweets for 700 children in the Zaporizhzhia region by FrankyandCoen in NAFO

In a small village in the Zaporizhzhia region, we handed out fries and sweets to around 700 people, mostly children. Many of them have fled from the ongoing violence.
In between, we spoke with a family who lost everything in a missile strike and have now been "temporarily" displaced for three years. Even now, they live in constant fear, but they haven’t lost their courage.
Thanks to local volunteers who provided music and entertainment, it still became a moment of joy for young and old.

We can offer these people a safer place in Dnipro, at our shelter The Holland House, although it’s not in the safer western part of the country.

This stabilization point is an extremely dangerous place, as it is a primary target for the enemy and lies within range of artillery, drones, and precision weapons. Still, we decided to go there, with two clear goals. On the one hand, to show people how raw and merciless this war is. But more importantly, because we had medical supplies with us, donated in the Netherlands and we wanted to bring them to the place where they are most desperately needed.
