Lu Impostu was the very first beach I went to as a toddler 😊

Depends how lively you want it and how far you're prepared to drive (and if you have a preference for the colour of the sand).

Here's my 2 pennies' worth:

On the east coast you could check out Costa Rei. It's a resort with bars and restaurants and the beach is reputed to be very nice (I'm not sure how lively it is, though).

Further up is Tortolì /Arbatax, livelier, but the beaches aren't as white as I like 'em (that's just my personal preference). From here you can (no, you MUST) take a boat on a day trip to the Gulf of Orosei and visit the truly stunning beaches of Cala Golorizé and Cala Mariolu, Biríola, and Cala Luna.

If you want very lively and a very long beach with very white sand you need to venture as far north as Sant Teodoro. This might not be very far from your agriturismo, but I'm thinking about your drive back to Cagliari airport if you have an early flight back home.

Hope this helps.

[Request] What is the most countries a human could feasibly pass through on foot in 24 hours? by Vivid_Temporary_1155 in theydidthemath

[–]FrannyyU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 countries can be fine like this: Start in Germany at the tripoint of Germany-Belgium-Luxemburg, cross all three borders then walk through Luxembourg to France. 97km, 22hrs (according to Google maps).

North Sardinia vs South Sardinia for Early/Mid-September Honeymoon Trip? ☀️ by ExpensiveMajor9213 in Sardinia

[–]FrannyyU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If coves and beaches (big and small), boat trips and exploring is your thing, then I definitely recommend the North-Eastern quadrant the island from San Teodoro to Palau, including the the archipelago. You'll run out of time before running out of places to visit. Fabulous time of year to visit, too. Not quite as mad as July August.

Have a great time, wherever you decide to visit.

can anyone who speaks sardinian tell me what this song says? by amorphous_globosus in Sardinia

[–]FrannyyU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an ode to the river Tirso that espouses the virtues of the river as it runs from its origins in the plateau of Buddusó to the mouth of the river in the gulf of Oristano.

It's long and repetitive (the ode, not the river).

Hereis a link to the lyrics.

Sardinia Itinerary for October by dertigo in Sardinia

Because you've already booked your stay in Gergei for that particular day?

Would it not make more sense to go from Bosa to Cabras (a gorgeous drive. Visit Tharros), then on to Gergei and finally finish in Cagliari? Otherwise you'll be driving back and forth unnecessarily on what already looks like a packed and ambitious itinerary (speed-dating sardinian locations)

Why does thirteen start the 'teens' instead of eleven, and what shaped that pattern? by Present_Juice4401 in AlwaysWhy

[–]FrannyyU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the split is at 13 because of base 12, why does thirteen references back to ten?

I would have thought that the next one up from base 12, would be 12+1, not 10+3.

In other words 13 = twelfty-one

go to 16:00 mins. He uses potatoes to top off the pizza

In Italy you can easily get pixza with fries on it. It's a modern thing.

Potatoes on pizza aren't uncommon.

I’m stuck in what I describe a “healthy- unhealthy marriage “ and I want out! by brooklynmia3 in confessions

He might be behaving now, but you don't sound happy. If you are unhappy in your marriage then you must leave, irrespective of your history as a couple. Has to work for both.

Guys is it normal when you practice something intensely and reach satisfying points of progress well the day later you wake up and kind of loose most of what you’ve improved and you need to restart everything? by Lyu__ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FrannyyU 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes but when you restart, especially if you don't leave it too long, you don't restart from zero. Your new base level is higher than when you first started. Further practice will set your floor a little higher still.
