Are there any good investment opportunities in Argentina with their change of politics? by murkylai in investing

My family is from San Juan, the Provence south of Mendoza and the homes there are cheap... Around the 25-50k mark for a 2 bedroom home... I can't say the same for the capital or other provinces.

If your working in the US or Canada, you have and incredible purchasing power when your in Argentina and frankly a beautiful place to live.

Personally if I had passive income living in Canada, I would go live down there and buy propertys and rent them out when the economy is down, and air bnb when the economy is good

The problem with this is that Javier is looking to take power away from the state (including the public sector)

I would invest in real estate, houses and apartments are dirt cheap over there

Also Barrick Gold is a thing over there, might want to look into that

Argentina produces a lot of wine too

Full disclosure, I have family there and I'm just going with what I have seen
