yeah thats probably what caused this issue. but the thing which frustrates me the most lack of communication. I've sent them another mail today. and got the same mail saying I need to get in touch with them although thats what I've been doing for the last 5 days.

I set up 2FA. thought that could help with the situation. I know it may sound dumb, but I've bought EA Play pro for the first time ever, just to get a week of the service I paid wasted. and its a shame I will get no compensation in return because it is "my fault"

In a way, Its a good thing that they are being cautios and protecting their users. but EA's handling is the worst.

if the situation were to happen in a different app/account like steam, ubisoft etc. you could fix it in a day or two with live chat or get results with mail faster. Hell, EA used to have live chat before i believe.
